This circuit was found in an English publication from 1976. It generates sequential signals in the diodes, which can be of the type 1N4148 and which are converted into tones by the oscillator with the 7413. The circuit must be powered by 5 V as it uses TTL technology. The frequency of the pulses depends on C1 which can be a 470uF capacitor.
