This configuration, which uses germanium transistors and transformers, is from a publication from the 1970s. Transistors admit more modern equivalents, but transformers are no longer easy to find. We can obtain them in scraps of small recorders and amplifiers of the time. The circuit powers a small speaker and must be powered by large batteries or a power source.
