This alarm circuit is from a 1990 Electronics Handbook. Transistor Q1 can be a BD135 and the relay is 9 or 12 V with a maximum coil current of 200 mA and contacts capable of withstanding horn current. Normally open sensors are connected in parallel and normally closed sensors are connected in series.
