This increased voltage regulator is from a 1980 publication, but it can be mounted using a BD136 for Q1 and a TIP41 or 2N3055 for Q2, in which case the currents can go from 4 to 5 A output. The input can have voltages from 12 to 30 V and the output voltage will be adjusted in RV1.
