We obtained this circuit from an old Argentine magazine. The circuit originally uses germanium transistors. However, with changes in the polarization resistors such as R6, R4, R7 and R11, germanium transistors can be tested. The potentiometers can be 47k since the original 50k values are no longer common, as they are not in accordance with current standards. 40uF capacitors can also be replaced with the current 47uF capacitors.
