This simple receiver, which requires a good antenna and grounding, was found in an Argentine publication from the 60s. The circuit originally uses a germanium transistor that can be obtained from an old transistor radio, but it also works with a general purpose PNP like the BC558. The transformer was obtained in a medium-wave transistor radio. The coil has 100 turns of wire 28 in a tube of 1.5 to 2 cm in diameter without core. The circuit works with 4 small batteries and even with alternative energy sources.
