This elementary receiver with only one germanium transistor was found in a Japanese publication from the 1960s. The handset must be made of crystal and the coil has a winding of 80 to 100 turns and another 30 turns in a ferrite rod with wire from 28 to 32 The circuit is powered by a 9 V battery.
