We found this circuit in a technical documentation on thyristors from the 70s. The circuit is set to fire with a signal whose intensity is determined by R1. The B1 battery takes the Diac to the trigger threshold, and other voltages can be used according to the characteristics of this component. The load is low current with a maximum of 15 mA, depending on the characteristics of the diac.
