This circuit is from a 1992 Electronics Handbook. The circuit generates a special tone effect for an alarm, and a power amplifier stage can be used instead of T1. The supply can be done with voltages from 5 to 12 V and the effect can be changed with the change of capacitors. The transformer can be obtained from old transistor radios.
