This circuit is used to fire an auxiliary flash when the machine's main flash operates. With two different light sources, no shadows appear in the photo. The transistors can be the BC549 and the SCR the TIC106. Foto Darlingtons equivalent to Q1 can be used. The circuit is connected to the trigger plug of an auxiliary flash. Power is provided by a battery and consumption is very low. The circuit is from a 1980 publication.
