This circuit generates approximately sinusoidal signals from the rectangular signals generated by a 4093 CMOS. Resistors R2, R3 and R4 must be experimentally changed to obtain a signal with the least possible distortion. The frequency adjustment is made in P1 between a few hertz and a few tens of kilohertz. The device's consumption is very low. This circuit is from a book by Newton C. Braga.
