This circuit tests rectifier diodes with currents from 200 mA to 450 mA, thus serving to test power rectifiers. The circuit is from an Argentine publication from 1973. The transformer has a 110 V winding with at least 500 mA of current. Note that the test is done with high voltage and that the resistors must have good dissipation.
