With this circuit, power cables can be detected by simply approaching PP. PP is an antenna or piece of wire. BZ is a piezoelectric phone capsule. The circuit has a very low consumption and can be powered by batteries. This detector came out in the book Science Fair Projects by Newton C. Braga.
