This simple servo can be built by coupling a potentiometer to a reduction box with a 3 to 6V motor. With the indicated transistors, the maximum motor current is 500 mA. Pair TIP31 and TIP32 can be used to control larger current motors. This circuit is from a book by Newton C. Braga.
