The oscillator shown in figure 1 uses a crystal for the (11 meter band or CB) amateur band, and is based on a general purpose PNP transistor.
The adjustment of the ideal oscillation point is obtained by a trimmer (CV). The capacitor C1 must be ceramic and the inductors can be both microchoke and home-made.
In figure 2 we give a suggestion of printed circuit board for the assembly of this oscillator.
