We have several circuits like this on the website. What it does is generate a signal in the range of medium waves, captured in a radio placed near the explorer coil. When a metal enters the coil field, the frequency changes, and this is perceived in the receiver. The coil consists of 16 coils of common wire or enameled in a flat plastic form of 12 cm in diameter.
