This conventional LED effects circuit uses integrated CMOS. Today we can achieve the same effects with low-cost microcontrollers, but the use of this configuration has a good teaching purpose. The circuit is powered by a voltage of 9 V and the effect is adjusted in the 4M7 trimpot.
