We found this oscillator that operates on the third overtone in a 1975 amateur radio documentation. The transistor can be 2N2222 or BF494 and the coil has an inductance of 0.5 uH to 1 uH depending on the frequency. The oscillation point is adjusted on the trimmer. The output signal is weak.
