This circuit was found in an old American publication from the 70s. It flashes a warning lamp, being powered by 12 V and, therefore, suitable for automotive use. The frequency of blinks depends on C1 and C2. Transistors T1, T2 and T3 can be BC558 and T4 can be a TIP31 for lamps up to 1 A. The resistors can also be changed to match the characteristics of the most modern transistors.
