This power source can supply currents in the range of 100 mA to 1 A, depending on the transformer and the transistors must be mounted on heat radiators. The circuit is from a 1974 publication. Fine adjustment of the output voltage is done in the trimpots. We recommend connecting in series with these 47 ohms resistor components to limit the current.
