Instead of BC108 we can use BC548 and instead of BC214 we can use BC558 in this low power amplifier. Note that the speaker is 35-ohm. An 8-ohm one can be used, lowering the power to 6 V. The diode can be 1N4148 and VR1 makes the adjustment of the rest current. The circuit is from an English publication from 1974.
