This ohmmeter can be made with a scrap milliammeter used for continuity tests or even resistance measurements if a scale is added to the instrument. The power can be done with one or two batteries and there is no consumption when the test leads are separated. A 47k trimpot can be connected in series with the instrument for adjusting the full scale.
