In the waiting condition, the consumption of this alarm is extremely low, of the order of microamperes. The number of sensors connected in series is unlimited and a 12 V relay can be used to supply this voltage. The relay can be a more modern type. The sensors consist of small wires that are interlocked on doors or windows or else NC type reed sensors.
