This traditional configuration, found in other articles on the site, was published in a Poptronics of November 1983. Q1 can be a BC548 and Q2 a BC558. The circuit also works with 6 V. The frequency adjustment is done in R2 and depends on C1 which can be a capacitor of 22 uF or even 47 uF.
