This amplifier for effects on musical instruments can be mounted with BC549 transistors. The circuit was found in a 1979 documentation. The signal input and output cables must be shielded and, as consumption is very low, it can be powered by a 9 V battery. The circuit is connected between the signal source and the amplifier input. The diodes can be 1N4002 or even 1N4148.
