This circuit produces the hum of a mosquito, scaring the female of the species that are the ones that bite. The circuit is powered by the 220 V network, but C1 can be changed to power by the 110 V network. The circuit is from a 1984 Italian magazine, but can be easily assembled, as all components are common.
