This receiver uses germanium PNP transistors that can be used from old disused devices. The headset can be crystal or a piezoelectric capsule. The coil consists of 40 + 40 turns of wire 28 in a ferrite rod and the variable capacitor used from an unused radio. Power is provided with two small batteries. The antenna must be long for greater sensitivity.
