This simple field strength meter was found in a 1970 publication. The zero-adjustment potentiometer is 10 k ohms, and the indicator is a microammeter that, not in the diagram, must have a 1k resistor in series. The FET can be the BF245 and RFC is a micro-choke of 100 47 mH. The diode can be 1N34 and the antenna is a 10 to 30 cm piece of wire or a telescopic antenna.
