This circuit is from a 1970 publication, having been implemented with germanium PNP transistors. We can use the BC558 instead of the B-172 and at the output supplying a lamp up to 500 mA, a BD136. The circuit works with power and 6 and 12 V lamps. The frequency depends on the electrolytic capacitors that can be changed.
