The incidence of light in the LDR causes this circuit to start operating, emitting a sound whose frequency depends on the output transformer and the capacitor. The circuit can be designed with modern PNP transistors such as BC558, and transformers can be obtained from old transistor radios that are no longer in use. The circuit will also operate on a 6 V supply.
