A modulated (intermittent) siren, using the four gates of the 4001 integrated circuit is shown in the figure. The power stage can use a single transistor, as in the case of the previous circuit, or even a higher power circuit, as we have already shown in figure CB12727E. The modulation and tone frequencies can be changed by modifying both the resistors and the corresponding capacitors.
