This circuit was obtained in a 1978 publication. The operational amplifier must use a symmetrical source. A pulse from a rhythm generator, for example, generates a damped oscillation that corresponds to a percussion sound. The circuit can be used in musical instruments, doorbells, and other sound effects. The damping is adjusted in the trimpot and the output must be applied to an amplifier.
