The amplifier shown in the figure is characterized by the very high input impedance, given by the low gain of the input amplifiers. The biggest gain comes from the second amplifier stage, which in turn has a low output impedance. The power supply must be symmetrical, and the resistors used must be accurate to 0.1%. But the main feature of this amplifier that draws attention is its low consumption. This circuit consumes a total quiescent current of only 200 uA. The supply voltage range is from 1.6 to 36 V symmetrical. The output voltage range is from 0 V to Vdc - 1.5 V.
