This circuit is from an April 2000 Poptronics. The magazine no longer exists, but the circuit can be easily assembled. The transistors must not leak, and the experimental circuit can be designed with two to four transistors, lighting an LED when touching the sensor or even when approaching it. The transistors can also be the BC548.
