This circuit was obtained in the 1979 publication 101 Electronics Projects. The circuit can be assembled easily, since all the components are common. What this circuit does is to activate a ceramic transducer (capsule) with an audio signal raising its voltage with a small transformer. Any transformer that has a low impedance and a high winding can be used. The circuit works with voltages from 6 to 12 V. An interesting fact is that sound can also be produced if two copper-plated areas of a printed circuit board are excited by the circuit.
