This circuit was obtained in the publication 101 Electronics Projects from 1979. The circuit can be assembled easily, since all the components are common. The transistors can be BC548 for NPN and BC558 for Q4, BD136 for Q5. With power supply equal to the lamp voltage, R4 is dispensed.
