50 MHz Receiver (CB12827E)
This simple receiver from an old magazine from the 1970s uses a high impedance headset in series with the power supply. The antenna must be 2 to 5 meters long and the transistor can be the BC558. With reversing the supply, the BF494 can be used. The winding of the coil connected to the variable consists of 8 turns of wire 26 or 28 in a form of 1 cm without core and the winding of the antenna in 3 turns of the same wire next to the other coil. The shock can be 47mH or 100 turns of wire 32 in a 100k x 1 / 2W resistor. The 10pF capacitor in parallel with the transistor must be ceramic. The variable is obtained from an old medium wave radio.
